About North Solihull Collaborative
The North Solihull Collaborative is one of five school collaboratives in Solihull Local Authority area.
The Collaboratives, consisting of both maintained schools and academies, meet to discuss latest issues, to share best practice and information, and to work collaboratively on key priorities. Each Collaborative feeds back to the Solihull Schools Strategic Accountability Board (SSSAB) and works in partnership with the Local Authority.

Joint Activities and Projects
Transition
Each year primary and secondary schools work together to ensure that information is shared timely and effectively for a successful KS2 to KS3 transition for pupils. This includes a shared Transition day/s; the dates for 2020 are Wednesday 1st July and Thursday 2nd July (this date is to be used for schools holding a one-day transition only).
Student Voice
Pupils from across all North Solihull Collaborative primary schools are invited to participate in Student Voice. Pupils meet collectively to discuss shared issues and work on a chosen on project. Topics of discussion have included: Making the most of school outdoor areas, litter, respect, charity work and the importance of healthy eating.
Networks
A range of networks are run in partnership with Unity TSA. They include, English, Maths, SENCo, Pastoral, Computing and Science. Please follow the link for further information.
Moderation
Moderation for Reading, Writing, Maths and Early Years is conducted annually. Please follow the link for further information.
The NS Collaborative oversees the work of North Solihull Sport and a number of schools participate in Solihull Children's University.
