Specialist Leading Practitioners (previously Specialist Leaders of Education)
Specialist Leading Practitioners (SLPs) are outstanding middle and senior leaders who have the skills to support individuals or teams in other schools. SLPs were designated Specialist Leaders of Education in the former Teaching School Alliance model. Each SLP will have met strict designation criteria and has proven expertise in their specialist area. All Unity SA SLP's have all undertaken training in conducting 'deep dives' and coaching methods.
Some of our SLPs are designated 'Senior SLPs', these members of staff have an additional strategic role within the Alliance, undertaking planning for the annual CPD programme and quality assuring the work of other SLPs in their subject area.
If you would like further information or to access support from one of our SLPs please contact the Unity SA office.
